Will Smith Inspiration

I really like Will Smith’s approach to his craft and just life in general.  And also what he says here and in the following quotes and footage from his movie.

“The separation of talent and skill is one of the greatest misunderstood concepts of people who are tying to excel, who have dreams, who want to do things. Talent you have naturally. Skill is only developed by hours and hours and hours of beating on your craft.”
Will Smith

We all remember the movie “The Pursuit of Happyness” and again another – I would call this a pretty powerful and inspirational of what Will Smith spoke about here..

“Don’t ever let someone tell you that you can’t do something. You got a dream, you gotta protect it. When people can’t do something themselves, they are going to tell you that you can’t do it. You want something, go get it. Period”

Here is the clip. I do believe this relates to anything in life.  Really powerful stuff.

“The greatest dreams are always unrealistic.”
Will Smith

“Don’t chase people. Be yourself, do your own thing and work hard. The right people – the ones who really belong in your life – will come to you. And stay.”
Will Smith

“We spend money that we do not have, on things we do not need, to impress people who do not care.”
Will Smith

For the Failure feeling in us!

“Don’t worry about failure; you only have to be right once.”
Drew Houston, Dropbox founder

“Fail often so you can succeed sooner.”
Tom Kelley

“The only thing worse than starting something and failing… is not starting something.”
Seth Godin, Squidoo founder

“If you’re not a risk taker, you should get the hell out of business.”
Ray Kroc, McDonald’s founder

And I will leave you with this one from Steve Jobs.

“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.”
Steve Jobs

You really have to love what you do in your business whether it be online or offline.

And that means everyday!

So are you loving what you do?
I know I have now found what I truly enjoy for my successful online business and you can check more on it here!

How to Create My Future Reality

how to create my future

How to Create My Future Reality

After listening and watching my usual weekly live webinar in our community, I am blown away yet again by the content I have learned,  but more importantly, what I am going to implement.  Being part of a program that has everything I need to be successful, I now know how to create my future and be successful online, with my website and blog.

If you are not creating your future the way you thought you would, perhaps there are a few things missing that you should be doing. Here are just a few tips I learned in relation to how to change my future, and perhaps they will assist in changing yours!

Who are You Surrounding Yourself with?

First up, you have to surround yourself with leaders. Or mentors, coaches, champions if you like!  But you must surround yourself with these leaders that have gotten the success that you want to have.

These leaders and mentors will be more than willing to share what they have learned. In fact the reason they are there is because they are always giving value and giving solutions to their audience.  They under promise and always over deliver.

I know the most successful people within my program here at Wealthy Affiliate are in this position because they too, were exactly where I am now.  They listened to leaders and mentors before them. They implemented everything they learned, every lesson, every task.  And they never gave up even in the tough times.

Perhaps you are not part of a business and you are on your own online.  You can always be inspired by people like Tony Robbins or Jack Canfield just to name a couple of highly influential and successful people.

Being and Doing

To start to create your own future reality you must start ‘Being’.  You have heard the term Be-Do-Have haven’t you? Well this is where this comes into play.  And it is something you must start doing but more importantly being as you do it.

So what does all this mean?

leadership in businessWell, be doing what a leader would do. Be making good decisions.  Be taking the massive actions that a leader would take.  Don’t just dream about it but be doing what you must do. And that doesn’t mean faking it either. But being, with intention, the leader you want to become.

Another tip I learned and practice daily is knowing that I am responsible for myself and my business.

And yes that means you too!  You are responsible.  Your online business and the future you create is up to you and no one else. If you are not participating in the community and on training calls, or live webinars.  If you are not getting lead flow, if nobody joined with you this week. If you aren’t getting a good amount of visitors to your website. Then it’s not your mentor’s fault or the person who sponsored you into the program.

How were you being?
What actions were you taking?
Are you writing those posts, or recording those videos?
Bottom line, were you getting out of your comfort zone?

You do know everything you ever wanted is on the other side of fear – and your comfort zone.

And What is Your Vision?

Do you know where you are going? And nobody come hell or high water is going to stop you!

You have to know where you are going, decide on what you are going to do to get there and just take action daily till you get achieve what you set out to do!

So vision and the reason why you want a better future is big.  So when you don’t have any leads and nobody is joining your business you can look at your reason “why?”  Always know the reason you got started in the first place. Knowing why you are doing this online business will be your driving factor when things are not traveling along so well.

And of course knowing what you are going after is also imperative.  So setting goals is truly key. I have a post here on smart goal setting so do check it out and get setting some small and big goals.

The buck stops with you.

It is your responsibility.

It is up to you.

Are you creating your awesome reality?
Do comment and share below.

Make it a great day.

Learn How to Surround Yourself with Positive People

circle of influence

How to Surround Yourself with Positive People

So you are looking at how to surround yourself with positive people. Taught by our parents as they guided us not only to work hard at school, but to be mindful of who we are spending out time with.

Well, perhaps you need to take stock of who you are hanging out with.  Who is in your circle of influence? Who is in your network of people whom you listen to on a regular basis, (and without realizing) taking ideas from and acting on things they suggest.

So are they Your Decisions or Theirs?

Have you ever really thought about some of the decisions you made – good or bad?  Was it your idea, or that of someone close to you? We surround ourselves daily with family and friends. With work colleagues if you are in a job.

When we are online it is with other network marketers. Or even locally, the shop assistant or green grocer that you know well and you visit every other day. Or perhaps even the every 8-week hairdresser visit!

These people in your circle or network could be having a huge profound effect on you – again good or bad – whether you realize it or not.  How do you feel after you speak to these people who are nearest and dearest to you?  Are you left feeling great after a talk to your brother or mother-in-law – or do you leave the conversation feeling like “How on earth did I continue listening to that garbage, why did I buy into all that negative talk?”

Identify the Good and Out with the Bad!

It’s so important to identify who is close to you – it can be family or not, and figure out what impact they have on you.  Are they supportive of your “out of the box” ideas and decisions, or do they quash or belittle any new found thought you bring to the forefront.  Some idea that could be a huge change for your future?

What’s to note in that phrase right there, are the KEY words, ‘your future’.’  Always remember, it is your future you are working towards, not theirs!

how to surround yourself with positive peopleWhen you do identify these people – you may need to cut them from your circle of influence altogether. But how do you do that if it is family?

An absolute must is learning how to put parameters on these conversations and influences.  Nobody says you can’t “love from a distance” and sometimes, just that very thing needs to be done!

Definitely become conscious of who you are allowing into your life, you want to be left feeling good and positive after conversing with most people you speak with. If they choose to speak constant negative talk about general “stuff” well, it’s your choice to be a part of it, or not.

My Positive Network I Surround Myself With

I had been part of a business in 2016 that had alot of negative people in it, and it truly contributed to its demise here in Australia (not to mention also it was a bit of a scam as well). And I have been in a personal development business and environment where it exuded positivity and it made for alot of productive and positive outcomes overall.

With positive people, you just work better, have a good mindset about your business, people are inspiring as you move forward in your business and you also aspire to be like these successful people.

In recent times I have become part of the Wealthy Affiliate network of entrepreneurs who are all building websites just like I am. And the majority of these peeps are helpful, supportive and just give me great ideas every day to go away with to work in my business.  And I contribute too, which I just know is having an impact on them too.

If you want to check out this community and get an idea of how to surround yourself with positive people then get instant access and a look into what I do.

To know your circle of influence are positive, like-minded individuals who totally support your views and more importantly listen to them, is paramount.

I look forward to your thoughts on my latest post of how to surround yourself with positive people. Please leave a comment below.

Make it an awesome day!

Do you know How to be Consistent?

how to be consistent

How to be Consistent

There are definitely things to learn on how to be consistent. And being consistent in business or with exercise or just everyday life tasks can be really tough!  I know, I have tried to have the really fit and “in shape” body in the past.  I have attempted to be part of the unlimited income earners and the successful home business owners.

Yet, funny enough consistency seems to be the key if we want to achieve anything!

How are you being consistent in things that you do?  Are you always fully committed or are you someone who performs tasks 1 or 2 days a week, then you skip a few days and it’s the same old scenario, you “fall of the wagon” … AGAIN!

I tend to think we get that mindset of, “Do we have to do this every day for the rest of our lives to get the result we want?”

And the simple answer to that is – YES we do!

Like for fitness and to maintain a healthy body. We are going to have to keep consistent with the good diet, buying good foods the from the fruit and veggie aisles.  And regularly exercising, and if not daily, then at least 4 to 5 times a week.

At home and with your family, some of your time must be spent with your kids, and that doesn’t mean just being home with them. But being really present in their interests; like reading a book or assisting in homework, playing a game or some type of physical activity like shooting some baskets or throwing a ball.

How to Be Consistent in Your Business

How to be consistent in businessIn business, it is a no-brainer that you want to get to the 4 or 5 figure months to feel it is a success.  And of course, it is important you like what you are doing. But more so, you want to be earning month in, month out a good residual income.  Well, it’s not going to do it on its own, so consistency with it is key.

So, are you on the best track possible for your business success?

It all depends on what type of business you are doing as to what you should be doing every day.

If you are in the online space like me, and for me, that is blogging and building websites, then I have to be moving this blog forward, and working on it daily.  I have to be adding posts, sharing these posts, learning how to find good keywords, learning better SEO strategies, the list goes on.

If you are doing paid advertising for your business you must be consistent with the marketing and advertising, researching for better methods and money saving methods.

If you have are part of an mlm, yo must be attending your scheduled training sessions and supporting your growing team. All of this must be consistent actions if you want to keep having the successes.

And doing these things daily.  The MAGIC is in the application.

I liken consistency to things I have grown up with and done daily anyway. Like brushing my teeth – you do yours twice daily don’t you?  Or showering, we shower consistently otherwise we would downright stink – Right!   We eat otherwise – Yip – we’d starve!

So when I require to be consistent in my physical self and in my health. Or my business and my family, I think about how easy I do all these simple things learned as a kid.

Some tasks just need you to be a little more disciplined with, so that in time they become a daily action – and become second nature to everything you do.

That truly is the place you need to get with your consistent actions – like they are second nature.

Even though it sounds easy it generally isn’t. But in the end, it comes down to how much you want the desired result. If you want it bad, you will keep up the consistent actions you take daily.  And that comes down to knowing your goals and good goal setting.

You are sick of not being financially free, sick to death of spending so little time with your gorgeous family. Really over not calling your own shots and going through life on your terms? Then really know “Why” you are doing this in the first place.  Knowing that will be your driving force.

Are you learning good Habits for your Business?

So how to be consistent in business?  Get around successful people who have done if before.  Be in a place where you have all the tools and support you need to assist in making your business a success.

Get focused, get disciplined and start being consistent taking action, so it becomes a daily habit to get you to your goals and dreams.

It really is the key to success.

Get INSTANT ACCESS to My No.1 recommendation that will assist you in how to be consistent in a business.  And YES! it comes with many successful leaders, a full system, and support!

To your success!

Do You Do Attraction Marketing?

attraction marketing formula review

So Do You Do Attraction Marketing?

Do you do attraction marketing or are you new to this concept?

In simple terms, attraction marketing is being attractive online.  And no, that doesn’t mean good hair and great makeup!  But being someone who is engaging; helpful, provides solutions to others, gives away free ideas and training’s and support.  A real “go to person” for getting your problem solved.

I recently learned a 5 Step Attraction Marketing Formula.  Following this you will not only have leads coming into your business daily – but increased engagement on Social Media platforms.  You’ll start growing a following and have people approaching you, asking to sign up in your business or happily buying your recommended products or services.

The 5 Step Attraction Marketing Formula

Give Value and Provide solutions

Get out there on Social Media platforms or even through paid methods and share training’s and solutions that will help others. See what questions people are asking and provide content that is a solution to assist them.

Don’t get out there and consistently share your business links.  Share value based content and your business occasionally.

Drive Traffic to your Blog

Through these social media platforms make sure you have a link that comes back to your blog where they see more about you and what you have to offer them. This can be a value based post that you have written. Or a link back to a pdf giveaway or again more tips and value from your blog. Either way, make sure it is of something valuable to the reader.

Build Your List

As people are visiting have an opt-in to gather their name, email and phone number to create a list that you can share content and value with on going. Learn more here about the platform I use to market and build my list with.

Build Relationships with your List

As your list grows in your autoresponder account whether that be Aweber or GetResponse or something else, if you

do attraction marketing
Do you do Attraction Marketing?

have 10 or 10,000 subscribers – continue to send emails to your list and again provide value and solutions.

So you got a phone number in the opt-in?  Great!  Now give them a call!  They want to know you are real and genuinely interested in helping them. Remember, they opted into something you offered so they want something that you have. So it is so important to connect, and give, hence building a relationship.

Promote

Continue to send value and stories and solutions and also present offers to your list. Having built relationships over time with the people on your list, they will without a doubt consider (and purchase) your recommendations.

I do hope you enjoyed this post. Definitely check out my video marketing review and all about video and how that may assist with the attraction marketing formula. With Video your following and list will grow exponentially!!!

Because people will see you and get to know, like and trust you!

What is Smart Goal Setting?

what is smart goal setting

What is Smart Goal Setting?

We often hear how it is so important to set goals.  If you are not going for a goal, then what are you really going for?

Learning in the past what is smart goal setting and why it is the best way to achieve goals – I now love letting my imagination run wild for my dreams and goals.  Having this S.M.A.R.T Goal system available to me helps me put it all into perspective, and to not be too outrageous and unrealistic with what I am working for.

Having this blogging platform to now share my passion in an online business is just one of my dreams finally being met!  You can check out a review on this platform here.

What is Smart Goal Setting and do I really Need to Set Goals?

 I heard a saying regarding Goal Setting once;

“If you don’t know what the money’ is for  – You can’t get the money”

How true is that statement?

To really attain a goal or dream it must be well defined. Ask yourself, What do you really want out of life?
The following SMART system is a proven method of defining and developing goals.

So What is Smart Goal Setting?  Let me explain here.

 The  —  SMART —  is an acronym for the following;

what is smart goal setting
What is Smart Goal Setting?

Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timely

And they all relate to the “SMART” Goal setting system.

First up:  S = Specific

A specific Goal has a much greater chance of being accomplished than a general goal so, identify your precise “Why?” and what you are passionate about and trying to achieve. It may be financial, spiritual, health, material etc

Here is an example of a Weight Loss Goal of mine:

Being too general would be, “Get into shape.”

But a specific Goal would say, “Download some You Tube fitness videos and exercise regularly early mornings 4-5 times a week”

Taking time also to visualize having achieved what I desire. How do I feel now that I feel fitter, slimmer and I am healthier and happier?

Get emotionally involved with the END RESULT.

M = Measurable

To determine if your Goal is measurable, ask questions such as…

“How much time will I need?  How will I know when it is accomplished?”

Your goal must be measurable. Saying “I want to be out of debt” definitely isn’t going to get you the results you want.  Saying, “I will earn $50K in 6 months and by December 1, 2017″  is more decisive and measurable and your focus is on working towards and earning the 50K – not thinking about the debt.

The result having achieved the goal, will be that you are out of debt as well.

A = Achievable

When you identify the Smart Goals that are most important to you, you begin to figure out ways you can make them come true. You must believe that you are able to achieve your Goal. It may seem somewhat unrealistic to you now, but it shouldn’t seem insurmountable.

So start figuring out ways you can make it come true. If you have to develop a better attitude, abilities and skills then get started on them right away.  Action has to be backed up every day to attain what you are going after.

R = Realistic

Your Goal should be realistic and something you are passionate about – you should be emotionally involved with your goal and it should never be somebody else’s!

A big yet realistic Goal is generally easier to reach than a small one because small goals exert low motivational force. Some of the hardest jobs you ever accomplished actually seem easy simply because they were a labor of love.

T = Timely

Your Goals should have an expected date of completion. This is usually an educated guess. With no time frame tied to it there’s no sense of urgency. If you want to lose 10 lbs, when do you want to lose it by?

“Someday” won’t work. But if you anchor it within a time frame, “by June 1st,” then you’ve set your unconscious mind into motion to begin working on the Goal and a date to achieve it by, setting up a sense of urgency.

In Conclusion

Once you have set your Goals, spend time daily reflecting on them. Write them onto Goal Cards and carry them with you everywhere. Identify what actions are necessary to take on a daily and weekly basis to achieve your Goals. In addition, identify what actions you currently are taking that are NOT in alignment with achieving your Goals.

Follow through with consistent, focused action.  When you have Goals you are emotionally involved with and are passionate about, taking action will be easy.

Learn to set short term, medium term and long term Goals. With a clear purpose, defined Goals and focused action, the results are already yours!

I do hope you found some value in this ‘What is Smart Goal Setting’ post and hope you can define and go after your goals.

Do share below a SMART Goal that you defined, took massive action and achieved it.

I would love to hear it!
Sharon
